VISA

  • Starting September 23, 2022, travelers are required to apply for a Bhutan visa online by themselves.  Tourism Council of the Govt. of Bhutan will issue their visa after the payment of US$ 200 per person per day.​

  • Travelers cannot process their visa through licensed tour operators, which was the case in pre-Sept 23, 2022.

​

How to Reach Bhutan

 

AIR    

 

 

Fly to Paro International Airport, the only airport, that is connected to airports in other countries-Bangladesh, India, Nepal Singapore and Thailand.

 

Druk Air and Bhutan Airlines-operate between these airports.

 

ROAD

 

You can enter Bhutan through India.

​

If you are planning to visit eastern  and central Bhutan, entering through Guwahati in Assam, India is best. 

​

For Western Bhutan, using Bagdogra,  West Bengal is the best option.

​

You can also travel from Kolkata to Bhutan by road.

​

​

 

TRAIN

 

 

You can also travel by trains in India to reach Bhutan.
